Oh boy! You just came back from your monthly doctor visit (you know the first ultrasound-around 20 weeks) and the doctor looks at you and says, WOW, how many babies are you having? You and your husband look to each other in amazement and you both glance over to the doctor and say "ONE?" The doctor opens his/her eyes and says, Oh NO! your having TWO, Congratulations!
The first thought running through your head is OH MY GOD! I have the complete family, maybe it's a boy and a girl, how wonderful, will they look alike? identical perhaps, how much fun. Then reality sets in, double births, double diapers, double breast feeding (?-how does that happen), double formula, double baths, double meals, double clothing! I'll need my husband, mom, sister, brother, neighbor, I'll TRULY NEED the village to raise these children. Then you come to terms, and console yourself with, well it could be worse, I could have had three coming at the same time.
In terms if gift giving for multiples there are a few notable websites with many multiple birth gift ideas. The Diaper Cake Depot has a great diaper cake selection and a few in particular are created as gifts for twin/triplet births. The "Two Peas in a Pod" theme is a very popular for gift giving to mom's having twins or triplets. We also have stationary, and unique favors like the Twin Power Mint Tins.
Noah's Ark is also a very popular twin theme. The four tear diaper cake makes an excellent shower gift or table center piece.

I love your twins diaper cake; it's so cute.
Thanks for sharing.
I'm working in association with Early Moments, a children's book club that can help teach kids how to read with children's books. Early Moments can help with a child's early literacy development by providing award-winning children's and kid's books conveniently delivered to their door.
I feel the information on your site you provide is very useful and your visitors may be interested. I
would love to know if you could link to our website, Early Moments.

Babies require lots of diaper changes, right from the start. The biggest choice here is whether you'll use cloth diapers or disposables. You'll also need to set up a place to keep diaper changing supplies so you have what you need when you're changing a wiggly baby.
